“I have learned so much from trying several different positions
within the container business during my years as a trainee. I had
to work hard at the office, study hard at home and be prepared
for the challenges that come with being a Client Coordinator for
Maersk Logistics in China. But the feeling you get when you know
you have performed your very best is hard to beat.”
“I knew very little about the shipping and oil industry before I
applied for M.I.S.E. But if you are a fast learner, who knows how to
adapt to rapid changes in a fast-paced environment, I’m sure you
will also get familiar with the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group’s many
different business areas. After all, as a trainee in this programme,
you have all the opportunities in the world.”
“The fact that it’s very difficult to get accepted as a trainee appealed
to my competitive nature, which is a very important thing to have
in a big-scale business environment such as this. And though I must
admit that getting ready for two years of expatriation was a bit
tough, I now find myself completely at home in the global network
that makes up the backbone of our business. It’s very rewarding to
be a part of something this size. Don’t you think?”
