The A.P. Moller - Maersk Group is a member of the International Consortium for Executive Development and Research (ICEDR) and currently chair the organisation. The other members of ICEDR include other world-leading international enterprises and leading business schools from all over the world. The consortium recently ranked the M.I.S.E. Programme and our job-rotation principle 'world-class'.
Our close ties to some of the world's leading business schools yields an increased focus on further education and external management development in our organisation. We co-operate closely with IMD in Switzerland through the 'building on talent' program of which we are one of the founding members. Moreover, we each year invite selected employees to attend executive training at the likes of Wharton, Harvard, Insead, London Business School, etc.
Although we support many employees in their education requirements, executive education is offered to our top performers who have shown the potential and willingness to become great leaders.
