While only meeting each other every 6 months at the M.I.S.E. modules our trainees maintain their network through the use of e-MISE, our virtual learning space.

e-MISE is another instrumental part of the networking experience that our trainees participate in throughout the duration of M.I.S.E. Between the modules the trainees gather around assignments and group-work in the virtual learning space and furthermore participate in the trainees' own social discussion forum.
Each year we create what we refer to as e-MISE groups. Each trainee is placed in a group with 10 different nationalities and the groups then serve as the social reference point for the members. The e-MISE groups will physically meet each other during the modules every 6 months but will in the meantime be solving problems and writing assignments together.
The social discussion forum is the virtual forum through which all participants from all e-MISE groups gather to socialize between modules. In the forum our trainees can build on connections already made or expand their network and meet new friends and colleagues whom they will them meet at the subsequent module.
