Maersk International Shipping Education (M.I.S.E.) is the 2 year trainee Programme through which we develop the future leaders of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, a conglomerate with activities in more than 125 countries and 325 cities world-wide. Our 110,000 employees are involved in shipping, logistics, oil- and gas exploration, production and retailing.

Each year we enrol approximately 450 trainees representing more than 80 countries into the M.I.S.E. Programme. Our trainees are hand-picked from the more than 85,000 applications we receive each year and undergo an intensive education resulting in a very steep learning curve throughout the Programme. M.I.S.E. trainees are motivated, hungry to learn and willing to share their knowledge.
The M.I.S.E. experience combines practical and theoretical education with broad international exposure and vast career opportunities.
Other than being part of M.I.S.E. our trainees share their high aspirations, a keen interest in other cultures and a desire to become the leaders of tomorrow. Ever-lasting cross-cultural professional and personal bonds are created through M.I.S.E. and they assist our trainees in obtaining their goals throughout their careers.
